As one of the 330 branches of the World Trade Centers Association we are the point of access for commercial North Netherlands to a global network of as many as 750,000 organizations and businesses. We draw the attention of the rest of the world to our region with the aim to boost the regional economy.

Our goals are networking, collaboration, knowledge enhancement and internationalization. We establish links, offer opportunities, and make things easier for entrepreneurs by means of individual support at regional, national and international level. The ultimate goal of the global WTC network is to support each other’s members.

We do so by means of:

• the WTC Business Club, an excellent platform for business encounters, informative meetings and company visits;
• international promotion of promising and strong sectors from our region;
• the WTC Business Academy;
• supporting companies that do business or want to do business in the Netherlands or abroad

The activities have a Business-to-Business orientation.

We work closely together with the Chamber of Commerce, the northern export clubs, other business clubs and employers’ associations in North Netherlands, various universities and colleges for higher education, and of course other WTC branches in the Netherlands and throughout the world.
